Dr. Begüm Serim-Yıldız, Faculty Member and Head of the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling (GPC) at TED University, delivered a significant seminar for parents. The seminar, titled “Be a Role Model, Support, and Empower: Boundaries and Social Skills in Children,” was successfully held on Wednesday evening, November 26, 2025, via Microsoft Teams, with warm and active participation from parents.
During the seminar, practical and immediately applicable recommendations were shared with participants—primarily parents from Maya Schools—to support children throughout their developmental journey. Dr. Begüm Serim-Yıldız provided guiding insights on the following topics:
- Supporting children in expressing their emotions,
- Establishing healthy boundaries,
- Integrating positive communication into daily life,
- Making play rules consistent and sustainable.
Parents had the opportunity to gain numerous practical strategies that they could readily apply within their own family environments. Appreciation was extended to all parents who devoted their time to this meeting, which aimed to encourage collective reflection and mutual empowerment in supporting children’s developmental journeys.
