As part of the TED University Student Development Seminars, a significant online event featuring international expertise was successfully held. The seminar was organized under the coordination of Dr. S. Burcu Özgülük Üçok, Faculty Member of the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling at TED University, and featured Dr. Michelle Roth from the University of Zurich as the guest speaker.
In her seminar titled “The Importance of Romantic Relationships for Health and Well-Being: Insights from Dyadic Coping and Gratitude Research,” Dr. Roth shared her expertise on interpersonal processes in romantic relationships.
The seminar focused particularly on topics such as dyadic coping, gratitude, relationship satisfaction, and long-term relational well-being. Dr. Roth’s experience as an international researcher conducting cross-cultural longitudinal couple studies in Switzerland and Türkiye further enriched the academic depth of the presentation.
The event took place online via Zoom on December 2, 2025, between 18:00 and 19:00. Held within the scope of the TEDU400 and TEDU101 seminar series, the event was open to the participation of all students.
