Within the scope of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women (25 November), TED University continued its seminar series with the mission of raising public awareness and fostering a shared consciousness against all forms of violence.
Another event in this series, conducted through the collaboration of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) and TED University, was successfully held under the title “Nonviolent Communication” at the Kuşcağız Family Life Center.
The seminar was carried out by students of the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling at TED University, under the coordination and supervision of Dr. S. Burcu Özgülük Üçok, a faculty member of the department.
Held on Thursday, November 20, the event provided participants with the opportunity to explore the core principles of nonviolent communication—an approach that promotes empathic listening without judgment or blame—and its applications in daily life. The seminar constituted an important component of the comprehensive program organized throughout the week and designed for diverse age groups.
TED University and Ankara Metropolitan Municipality extended their appreciation to all participants and contributors who supported the successful implementation of these activities.
