The Partner Relationships Seminar Organized Under the Coordination of Dr. S. Burcu Özgülük Üçok Has Been Completed

As part of the TED University Student Development Seminars, the seminar titled “Between ‘Me’, ‘You’, and ‘Us’: Power, Conflict, and Violence in Partner Relationships” was successfully held.

The event was organized under the coordination of Dr. S. Burcu Özgülük Üçok, a faculty member of the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling at TED University, within the scope of her courses on marriage and family dynamics.

Participating as the guest speaker, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ezgi Toplu-Demirtaş, Head of the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling at MEF University, shared insights into the complex dynamics of partner relationships. The seminar particularly focused on critical issues such as power balances in partner relationships, conflict resolution strategies, and the impacts of violence.

The event took place online via Zoom on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, between 20:00 and 21:00, and was also included within the scope of the TEDU101 Mix & Mingle activities.

Open to the participation of all students, the seminar enabled attendees to gain valuable awareness regarding the development of healthy and respectful relationships.
