A Project Supervised by Dr. Selin Onaylı to Be Conducted with TEDU LAD Support: Middle School Students’ Sexual Health Attitudes Under Investigation

A significant research project from the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling at the Faculty of Education, TED University, has been awarded support under the TED University Undergraduate Research Support (LAD) Program.

Supervised by Dr. Selin Onaylı, a faculty member of the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling, the project is conducted by undergraduate students Eren Akbaş, Gamze Soysal, and Zeynep Büyükkara from the GPC Department. The study is entitled “An Investigation of Middle School Students’ Attitudes Toward Sexual Health and Its Integration into the Curriculum.”

The project aims to examine middle school students’ attitudes toward sexual health in depth and to develop recommendations on how the findings can be integrated into educational curricula. This support encourages students’ early and active participation in scientific research in collaboration with their academic advisors.
