Dear TEDU students,
As part of the project supported by TEDU LAD, initiated by TED University's Education Sciences Department, Guidance and Psychological Counseling program 3rd-year students Büşra Başar, Çisil Akdemir, and Damla Ayvaz under the guidance of Research Assistant Ayşegül Aracı İyiaydın, an 8-week online sexual awareness-based education program will be organized on Saturday evenings from 20:00 to 22:00. The sessions will not be recorded in any way, and the education has limited capacity.
To assess the effectiveness of the study before and after the study, four different surveys, each lasting approximately 20 minutes, will be conducted. These surveys will not request any personal information. The surveys will be sent to your email addresses via an online link. The education will start on June 18, 2022, and the pre-test will be conducted from June 14 to June 18. The results of the research can be used for presentation and publication in scientific platforms at the end of the study.
Participants in the education are expected to be between the ages of 18-24, be native Turkish speakers or have a proficiency level in Turkish, and be studying at TED University. Candidates who accept the principles of the study and meet the specified prerequisites can apply through the application form provided via the link. In the evaluation of applications, priority will be given to maintaining a balanced distribution in terms of application order, gender, and inter-faculty distribution. In addition, students who will be part of the control group will have priority as candidates for a second education group.
