Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department

Vision: Our vision as the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department is to train counselors who prioritize the mental health of individuals of all ages within the contexts of school, family, and career, with an interdisciplinary approach, a critical and advocacy-oriented perspective, considering ethical values, and both generating knowledge and utilizing existing scientific knowledge, at both national and international levels.

Mission: Our mission is to train counselors who adopt a perspective of providing preventive mental health services in accordance with national and international standards of education, committed to universal and ethical values, devoted to the principles and reforms of Atatürk, sensitive to diversity, equipped with 21st-century skills, productive, creative, and possessing a high capacity for collaboration.
