Abstract:  In this presentation, conceptualizations of human values, their measurement, and relevant research of the speaker will be addressed. Following an introduction about consensual features and functions of human values, developments in the theory about and measurement of the construct will be detailed. Relevant research conducted by the speaker will be interspersed throughout the presentation to exemplify how human values guide human social thought and behavior. Final remarks will be made on the running projects of the speaker.
