High school students at Metod College participated in an important guidance-focused seminar delivered by Assist. Prof. Begüm Serim-Yıldız. In her presentation titled “Peer Bullying,” Assist. Prof. Serim-Yıldız addressed various forms of bullying that students may encounter in school life and discussed effective coping strategies.
During the seminar, students gained insight into the different types, causes, and consequences of peer bullying, while also having the opportunity to reflect on the importance of empathy, healthy communication, and support mechanisms. Assist. Prof. Serim-Yıldız emphasized practical ways to foster a safe and respectful school environment and encouraged students to take an active role in preventing bullying behaviors.
