The article titled “Immediate Effects of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in Children with ADHD: A Pilot Resting-State fNIRS Study” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökçen Aydın-Dalarslan, a faculty member of the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling at TED University Faculty of Education, has been published in Brain Sciences.
Published in Brain Sciences, which is indexed in Scopus Q2, Web of Science Q3, and SCIE, the study is included in the special issue titled “Addressing ADHD in Children: Contemporary Treatment Strategies.”
The study examines the short-term effects of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in children diagnosed with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder through resting-state fNIRS measurements. As a pilot study, the research contributes to the evaluation of contemporary psychological intervention approaches for ADHD in children through neuroscientific indicators.
