Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökçen Aydın, a faculty member of our Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling, participated in the ACBS World Conference 2026, held in Lyon, France, on July 16–19, 2026, with two paper presentations.
At the conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökçen Aydın presented her studies entitled “Psychological Flexibility and Values in Predicting Romantic Relationship Satisfaction Among Young Adults” and “Experiential Avoidance and Emotional Competence in Adolescent Social Media Addiction.”
The studies examined the relationship between romantic relationship satisfaction, psychological flexibility, and values among young adults, as well as the role of experiential avoidance and emotional competence in adolescent social media addiction.
