Asst. Prof. Dr. Begüm Serim-Yıldız, Head of the Department of Psychological Counseling and Guidance, held an online meeting with 8th and 12th grade students supported within the scope of the TED Disaster Scholarship Program.
Within this meeting, Asst. Prof. Dr. Serim-Yıldız delivered a seminar titled “Coping with Exam Anxiety,” aimed at supporting students in managing exam-related stress and anxiety. The seminar addressed the nature of exam anxiety, its psychological underpinnings, and effective coping strategies designed to strengthen students’ emotional well-being and academic functioning.
The online session provided students with practical knowledge and supportive guidance to help them navigate the challenges associated with high-stakes examinations.
