Lect. Dr. Nergis Hazal Yılmaztürk, a faculty member of our Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling, contributed as a chapter author to the international book Transdisciplinary Perspectives on Sharenting: Parenting, Privacy, and Consent, published by Routledge and indexed in Scopus, together with TED University Faculty of Education faculty members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sühendan Semine Er and Res. Assist. Tuba Özgül-Torun.

Edited by Gergely Lendvai, Arantxa Vizcaíno-Verdú, Anca Velicu, and András Koltay, the book examines the phenomenon of “sharenting”, which refers to parents’ practice of sharing content about their children on digital platforms, from an interdisciplinary perspective. The volume explores contemporary issues such as parenting, children’s privacy, digital environments, and consent through approaches from different disciplines.

We congratulate Lect. Dr. Nergis Hazal Yılmaztürk, a member of our Department, and the other esteemed academics involved in the work for their contribution to the international literature.
