Our Student’s TÜBİTAK 2209-A Supported Project Presented at an International Conference

The project titled “AI-Assisted English Language Assessment and Evaluation: ELMA with Seamless LMS (Moodle) Integration,” conducted by Buğra Naim Acar, a student in the English Language Teaching and Guidance and Psychological Counseling programs at TED University Faculty of Education, and supported within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2209-A Undergraduate Students Research Projects Support Program, was presented at an international conference.
Supervised by Dr. Sinem Sözen Özdoğan, the project aims to support assessment and evaluation processes in foreign language education through artificial intelligence. The ELMA system developed within the project is designed to work in integration with Moodle and contribute to making assessment processes more efficient, consistent, and accessible.
The project outcomes were presented as an oral presentation at the 3rd International Conference on Emerging Trends and Applications in Artificial Intelligence, held at Istanbul Technical University on May 15–16, 2026.
