PCG Department Met with Prospective Students at the University Promotion Days

On April 8, 2025, the University Department Promotion Days event was held at Sheraton Ankara Convention Center, where the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department of TED University came together with prospective students. Dr. Begüm Serim-Yıldız, Head of the PCG Department, and Research Assistant Şevval Özkan, who serves as a graduate assistant with a working scholarship in the master's program, were present at the university’s booth.
Dr. Serim-Yıldız provided comprehensive information to prospective students about the aims of the GPC program, course content, practical training opportunities, internship options, and career paths after graduation. She also answered questions about the fundamentals of psychological counseling, ethical principles of the profession, and its role in society.
Research Assistant Şevval Özkan shared her experiences as a graduate student, detailed the academic processes, and discussed the development opportunities that come with being a working scholarship holder in the program.
