The seminar was conducted by students under the coordination and supervision of Dr. S. Burcu Özgülük Üçok, faculty member of TED University’s Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program. The event provided information on the types of violence observed in close relationships, the effects of violence on individuals, and mechanisms for combating violence.
Within the scope of the seminar, participants were informed about different forms of violence, including physical, psychological, economic, and digital violence; the emotional and social consequences of violence; available support resources; and application mechanisms.
The seminar aimed to raise awareness of violence in close relationships, help participants recognize different forms of violence, and provide information about possible ways to seek support and take action against violence.
We would like to thank Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, Dr. S. Burcu Özgülük Üçok, our students who conducted the seminar, and all participants for their valuable contributions.
