TEDU–ABB Community Development Projects Led by Dr. S. Burcu Özgülük Üçok Concluded with a Closing Meeting

Within the framework of the cooperation protocol signed between Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) and TED University, the “Seminar Series” and “Strong Steps Toward Marriage” projects, implemented under the leadership of Asst. Prof. S. Burcu Özgülük Üçok, were successfully concluded with a closing meeting.

Carried out under the umbrella of TEDU–ABB Community Development, the projects were implemented through collaboration between the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Department of Women and Family Services and the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Division of the Department of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Education, TED University.

As part of the project process, undergraduate students from the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Programdelivered various seminars at women’s centers within the scope of the Marriage and Family Counseling courses taught by Dr. Özgülük Üçok. In addition, a six-week premarital group psychological counseling program, conducted by Dr. S. Burcu Özgülük Üçok for couples planning to marry, was implemented. Graduate students from the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program contributed to the process as observers and facilitators.

The closing meeting, held on Friday, December 26, at the Ahmet Ersan Conference Hall, provided an opportunity to share project implementations, professional experiences, and key outcomes. The event concluded with a reception followed by the official closing session.
