The project prepared by Eylül Çoban, our double major student in the Preschool Education and Guidance and Psychological Counseling programs, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatma Yalçın, has been awarded support within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2209-A Undergraduate Students Research Projects Support Program.

The project, titled “Examining the Effect of Orienteering Education Integrated with Nature and Forest Pedagogy on the Spatial Orientation Skills of 6-Year-Old Children from Low Socio-Economic Backgrounds,” aims to investigate the effect of orienteering education integrated with nature and forest pedagogy on children’s spatial orientation skills in early childhood.

We value the promotion of a research culture starting from undergraduate education and congratulate our student Eylül Çoban and her advisor Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatma Yalçın on this achievement.
