Dear TEDU students,

As part of the project supported by TEDU LAD, initiated by TED University's Education Sciences Department, Guidance and Psychological Counseling program 3rd-year students Büşra Başar, Çisil Akdemir, and Damla Ayvaz under the guidance of Research Assistant Ayşegül Aracı İyiaydın, an 8-week online sexual awareness-based education program will be organized on Saturday evenings from 20:00 to 22:00. The sessions will not be recorded in any way, and the education has limited capacity.

We met with our students who enrolled the Faculty of Education. Dean, Heads of Departments, lecturers, and students attended the meeting.

We said goodbye to our 2022 graduates of the TED University Faculty of Education, Department of Educational Sciences, Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program, with the graduation ceremony held on 26.06.2022. We wish our graduates the best!

Asst. Prof. Münevver İLGÜN DİBEK’s “Hierarchical Linear Modeling” and Res. Assist. Ayşe BİLİCİOĞLU GÜNEŞ’s “Factor Analysis” book chapters have been published in the new book "İSTATİSTİKOLAY 2" by Nobel Publishing.

The 15th edition of Prof. Dr. Nilüfer Voltan Acar's book "Principles and Techniques of Group Counseling" was published by Nobel Publishing on 15.04.2022.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Olcay Yılmaz held the "Skills of the Near Future: Current Skills in Career Choice and Other Environmental Factors" training at ASO Technical College on 06.04.2022.

R.A. Nergis Hazal Yılmaztürk gave a TEDU 400 seminar on Emotional Eating on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 19:00.

A new book "Practices of Counseling Children and Adolescents" was both edited and contributed by the chapters "Fear/Anxiety" and "Attachment" by our faculty Dr. Begüm Serim Yıldız and Dr. S. Burcu Özgülük Üçok was published by Nobel Publishing in 28.02.2022. The book was also contributed by the chapter "Eating Disorders" written by R.A. Nergis Hazal Yılmaztürk and "Sexual Identity Diversity" written by R.A. Yusuf Barburoğlu

TEDU, Faculty of Education, Psychological Counseling and Guidance Program 4th year students Büşra Başar, Çisil Akdemir, and Damla Ayvaz'in research project titled "Exploring The Hegemonic Masculinity Hierarchy’s Reconstruction and Deconstruction in Traditional Tales and Anti-Tales" was deemed worthy of support to be conducted under the supervision of Research Assistant Yusuf Barburoğlu, by Research, Technology and Innovation Directorate of our university as of 27.06.2022 within the scope of Undergraduate Students Research Support (LAD).
