During the Fall semester of 2018 -2019 academic year, some of our Faculty of Education students from EDU 401 Community Service undergraduate course chose to contribute to the “TED Full Support Project” as their community service work. Within the framework of this project, our undergraduate students participated in the course and social support activities organized for young students on weekends.

EDU-401 Topluma Hizmet dersi kapsamında, Eğitim Fakültesi öğrencilerimiz Gülşah Ekim, Sinem Sabahçı ve Melis Kıymaz tarafından, TED Tam Destek Bursu alan engelli öğrencilerin velilerine yönelik stres yönetimi ve iletişim becerileri üzerine çalışmalar gerçekleştirildi. Veliler ile birlikte, stres yönetimine yönelik gevşeme egzersizleri uygulandı. Gevşeme egzersizlerinden önce stresin tanımı, stresin hayatımıza etkileri ve stresle başa çıkma yolları hakkında bilgiler verildi.

Fatma Erva Tayanç, our student from Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program and Minor Program  of Early Childhood Education, participated in the International 4th Congress of Child Development with a poster presentation titled “Investigation of the Children' Playground in Terms of Design Criteria: The Case of Ankara Kurtuluş Park”.

Prof. Dr. Nilüfer Voltan Acar participated the 5th International Psychology Conference as a lecturer and a workshop leader at 7-8 April in Khazar University.

Prof. Dr. Nilüfer Voltan Acar talked about communication in a program which is prepared by the collaboration of Turkish PDR-Association and Bilgi University.

Prof. Dr. Nilüfer Voltan Acar conducted psychological counseling practice with volunteers at Hatay Mustafa Kemal University.
