The 4th GPC Students Day, traditionally organized in partnership with TED University EduAction Student Community and TEDU PDR Department, took place online on Saturday, March 20 with the theme "Vulnerable Groups" this year. Within the scope of the program, 5 seminars and 2 workshops were held and students, alumni and field workers showed great interest in the event. ''4. PDR Students' Day Event'' started with the opening speeches made by EduAction Student Club President Neslihan Alakabak, TEDU Psychological Counseling and Guidance Department Head Prof. Dr. Nilüfer Voltan Acar, TEDU Education Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Yüksel Kavak, UNFPA Program Coordinator Dr. Gökhan Yıldırımkaya.
The first seminar of the event was performed by Dr. Mana Ece Tuna. Second seminar Assoc. Dr. It was realized by Nilüfer Koçtürk. The subject of "Childhood Sexual Abuse" was discussed in this seminar. In the third seminar, We came together with its member, Dr. Lecturer Evrim Çetinkaya Yıldız. In our fourth seminar, a presentation titled "Poverty and Trauma" was presented by Prof. Dr. Özgür Erdur Baker. In the fifth and last seminar, Dr. Lecturer Hanife Akgül delivered her speech titled "65 + Covering the Above: Gerontology and Psychological Counseling".
The event continued with workshops after a short break. The first workshop was prepared by Şeyma Büyükurvay under the title of "Inclusive PDR from Love to Right Focus". In our second workshop and the last session, Dr. Lecturer Ezgi Toplu Demirtaş conducted a workshop titled "LGBTI+ Basic Concepts and Myths Workshop". The event ended with this session. We would like to thank everyone and all our participants who contributed to this event, where we gained a lot from the presentation of each of our teachers and we increased our awareness about the groups that specialize in needs.
